Got this string of turtles in October and was acclimating it before I repot. This is the soil that it was in and I noticed that there are barely any roots. What soil mixture would be best to use? Do these do well in terracotta pots? The new leaves are itty bitty. I keep it in my bathroom window that is south facing

The last picture looks good! You want a soil with good drainage. I mix perlite with a tropics/succulent mixture.

I put mine in cactus soil, because I can’t be bothered to mix my own.
Terracotta is good since they don’t want to be soaked for too long.
It’s a crawling plant so the roots won’t go as deep as other plants, I’m 90% sure that’s also why the new growth is small.

When you repot into something bigger just make sure to place the loose vines on the new soil, then it’ll root and fill out.
