to say i’m DEVASTATED is an understatement. I’ve had this plans since I turned 18. I just turned 25. She always blooms for me on my birthday. She lives with my mom. I came home for christmas and saw her droopy, thought she needed a repotting and ALL OF HER ROOTS ARE GONE!! The soil was SOAKED and i think the drainage hole got blocked / my mom was overwatering. IS IT POSSIBLE TO SAVE HER???? I worked in a greenhouse for 2 years and the only thing i can think of is root power in dry soil and hoping for the best

i told my mother to water when the soil was dry 1x a week or once every 2 weeks. Sits in indirect sunlight most of the day in SW FL (indoors)

Time will tell! Let it dry out and stick in some soil.

Oh yeah, she can recover from this! Take a couple smaller cuttings to root as well, just in case. Cut off anything rotten, let it dry, then repot.

This happened to mine that I’ve had for 45 years. Lost all but a few discolored stems. I cleaned and removed dead portions and replanted. Almost a year later it is just now slowly pushing out new stems. There is hope!
