New setup, still cycling. Old pics, there are more plants in water now. Aquatic side is 2.5 gallons, 78 degrees stable. no heat on land side but that can change.
For water im certain about cherry shrimp, and most likely a ramshorn, rabbit, or nerite snail. Id love to consider a ranatra water mantis if my shrimp population is high enough to withstand some predation, but im not sold on it.
for terrestrial, im considering an American pink footed millipede. ive read that they are prone to drowning in some paludaroums, but I think the way I have my water divided it would be safe? Is this a bad idea?
Id like to stick with herbivorous/low maintenence animals that contribute to the ecosystem, but im open to other ideas!

Forgot to mention the tank is 29 gallons. Land side is *roughly* 12×16″
EDIT thanks for the responses so far! I like the idea of vamp crabs. Is it possible to have crabs, cherry shrimp, and a ramshorn all together in this setup? Id imagine id need frequent water changes and plenty of time for a shrimp colony to establish
Could be hard to source and you might have to get a heater depending on your room temp, but licorice gouramis are small enough to do well in a small acidic environment like that.
Could do vampire crabs, or a newt!
Vampire crabs
Vampire crabs for sure
