Traveling again through Kansas City this time. Found these at the Family Tree Nursery in Overland Park area. Aeonium, Black Rose. I'll probably put this in a lather pot than the hexagon and from the photos.
This is going to be a tradition now or a bad habit really, of getting a plant and bonsai pot at any garden center in the city I happen to be traveling through.

Great plant. But this tree is hardly conducive to bonsai. As beautiful as the foliage is, it doesn’t look like a miniature version of a full size tree we would see in nature.
