Why is my guy always trying to reach the sky rather than getting wider / getting bigger leaves. This is second time always bolts up. Should I try the wooden post instead?
Could be a lighting or a nutrient issue. Do you fertilize regularly? How exposed to light are they? Do you keep your pole moist all the time?
Plantabolic
In order for the leaves to grow it has to root into the moss pole, for this you need to keep constant moist in the pole, they can “sense” when they are climbing and that triggers bigger leaves as well which he seem to do already it seems it’s a light or nutrient issue as well as he run out of pole, you can attache a second pole, once rooted you can chop and extend, check out SydneyPlantGuy on YT for details on how to do this.
