I was gifted this (I think it’s a Thanksgiving Cactus?) from work, and I would love for it to grow and thrive. Aside from keeping it away from the cat, do y’all have any advice on how to keep this long enough to bestow as an inheritance to my grandchildren?

Definitely a thanksgiving cactus, lots of light, ideally a south facing window, only water when the soil is bone dry. Also be sure to give it a good dust & wipe the leaves at least once a month
