Powerwash the driveway and swap out some bushes and i think it’ll look better.

You have a solid brick foundation to work with but right now the concrete is doing all the talking while the house is whispering in the corner. The biggest issue here is that everything is flat and pushed right up against the walls which makes the yard look smaller and the driveway look massive. You need to pull those garden beds out away from the house at least six to eight feet. Deepening those beds allows you to layer plants with taller evergreens in the back and colorful perennials in the front rather than that single soldiers-in-a-row look you have now.
To really break up that sea of brick and roof you need some vertical interest in the lawn itself. I would plant a small ornamental tree like a Redbud, Dogwood, or Crape Myrtle about ten to fifteen feet out from that right corner window. It will soften the hard edges of the architecture and give the eye something to land on besides the side fence. Also pay attention to that entryway on the left because it is currently a black hole. You can fix that with some bright foliage plants or lighter ornamental grasses leading up to the door to act as a visual runway.
Don’t be afraid to cut into that turf grass to create a sweeping curve that connects the driveway side to the right fence line instead of that straight edge. Straight lines are boring and actually harder to mow. I help people with these kinds of layouts all the time and replacing that sharp grass edge with a flowing bed line creates instant curb appeal without costing a fortune in hardscaping.

I think pressure washing the fence and then staining it black would add some depth and pop to the perimeter.

Well, I was going to add my 2 cents but these comments pretty well covered everything. Follow these fellas’ advice and you’re golden.

Get some solar powered string lights on your fence, walkway lights, bird bath, maybe even do a lounging area in the front yard. There’s so much you could do with this with just a small budget

I’d focus on that are of the house that’s all brick. Maybe a highly decorative and larger trellis, or vintage breeze blocks. Something to provide a focal point and maybe drag some landscaping down the drive from that spot to create a separation between drive and house.
Some good outdoor lighting, even a few street lamp types too.
