Surely this is a Lupine and not a blue bonnet, right? I’ve read a lot of gardening books, but December is very rarely put as a BlueBonnet range….

    I saw what looked like a Leucaena retusa in bloom on my way to work today. I also have bluebonnets out of a seed mix starting to pop up. Even for 956, I feel like things are doing things a bit early.

    Bluebonnets normally sprout in the fall, but don’t start blooming until the February-March timeframe
