Anybody know what type of flower this is? I got her as a gift and want to get myself more, she is so pretty!

    Stamens (M) and carpel (F) present ==> this is a “they” (like almost all flowering plants), not a “she.”

    Important advice: Please keep amaryllis away from pets as they are *extremely* toxic if ingested!

    The flowers are gorgeous though. I’ve seen so many colors and patterns on the petals, but I cannot have them in my house as I have little high shelf space anymore and very curious cats!
