Hi all! I have some peppers overwintering in my basement under grow lights right now and they’ve become infested with these little bugs that look like sesame seeds! Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them? Thanks is advance!

Aphids. Soapy water/neem oil or get a pet praying mantis 🙂
And in my experience, if it was outside at the end of the season, it’s not coming in my house. Too many things crawling out of the dirt etc. a warm rag will clean them off if your careful though
I have aphids on my overwintering peppers as well, so frustrating! What I did was move my plants to the guest shower (effectively quarantine), use the shower head to knock as many of them off as possible with the water stream, then have just been doing damage control by wiping off any I see day to day. The water really got 95% now just staying on top of it so they don’t get out of hand again. I didn’t want to keep using the water and risk make the soil too wet and causing rot, so hand squishing it is lol.
