The other day, while strolling through my town, I saw this magnificent tree. I couldn't believe my eyes; the photos don't do it justice.
In person, it's even more impressive than the photo shows. The trunk is enormous. I don't know how old it is, as I don't know the owners and haven't asked, but if the one I have nearby is definitely over 150 years old, who knows how old this one is.
On top of that, it stands completely alone with nothing around it, as if saying, "Here I am, get out of my way!" And to top it all off, just 50 meters away is its neighbor, which is just as big. They are like two great colossi created by nature, watching time go by as if nothing were amiss. They are in perfect condition and completely healthy. What do you think of this wonder of nature?
