Helped my mom make this paladarium for our frogs since the last one they were in was too small. They have an egg crate in the back corner to help them get out of the water. Lots of bugs with hiding/breeding spaces, a small den, and she just got some feeder minnows to put in the water for them as well. Hopefully everything integrates well and it becomes almost self-sufficient.

This tank is not ready for inhabitants. It takes a solid amount of time for water and soil to develop their natural microbiome that helps to control toxic compounds building up. You also need plants (aquatic, terrestrial, riparian, floating, anything you can get your hands on) that will also help keep the system stable and provide necessary refuge for your frog. Lastly, water movement. Do you have any filtration or pump? If not, your simplest option will be a sponge filter with an air pump, otherwise the water will sit stagnant and get even worse. Without these steps, it’s very likely your water will become toxic to your frog.
