Looks like a raw coconut
Maybe it migrated?
cacao pod?
Some sort of milkweed pod? Initially, I thought coconut, but after looking at the picture of the inside, I’m leaning towards milkweed.
Attalea Palm of some kind?
It looks like a cerbera fruit. Where did you get it? And where do you live?
Milkweed pod.
Location? Kind of reminds me of Ceiba pentandra’s fruit.
Best guess is a money tree/Guiana chestnut.

Native to central and South America.
Usually grow in wet locations.
Silk cotton tree seed pod. When they are ripe it splits open and the seeds fly away.
Looks like a coconut. 🥥 It usually falls from the sky. Is the sky falling?
It’s pod of a kapok tree
I ran your photo through a plant diagnostic AI I’m building (RootPulse.ai), and it identified this as **Kapok tree** with 90**%** confidence.
Does that look right to the human experts here? I’m trying to benchmark the AI against real tricky cases like this one!
