Really enjoyed making this, first time I tried making a bonsai. Hope it survives, I did take quite a bit off the original plant. Will probably try repotting it in spring and making some deadwood from that left branch. Feedback welcome!
Good movement and vision. Lose the left branch and make it a jin. Put cut paste on your cuts

I like this view, personally. I would take that back branch and bend it down and to the back to give the arrangement some depth but it’s got good movement.
Now don’t touch it until it looks crazy overgrown, and then come back for some pinching.

That’s a lot to take off in one go. I wouldn’t let early failures deter a long term pursuit though. You should get another tree.
