I'm new to air plants, and I was curious how to tell when they need to be watered. I have read about looking at the silver portions, but any additional clues would be valuable!

Generally speaking, when you start noticing some wrinkling in the base and/or droopy leaves. Another telltale sign is that the plant feels weightless when dehydrated.

    Hope it helps! 🙂

I soak them once a week for an hour or so & sometimes mist them in between because my house is so dry this time of year. I think I need a humidifier :-/
