I can see paint cracking on several of the leaves. Looks like the red is spray painted on. I would search for key words like “spray paint”/”spray painted” in this community for advice on how best to clean it off

It’s been painted. Stores will sometimes color succulents in bright colors to sell to the masses.

I rescued a pink one last year and it has almost grown completely back to its normal green color.

xSedeveria letizia, yes it’s painted, yes it’ll grow out and be fine. Ensure it’s in properly !gritty soil, and acclimated to good !light or proper !growlights, and watering when the green leaves show signs of thirst. There’s enough unpainted portions where I wouldn’t say it’s necessary to remove the paint, by doing so you risk damaging the plant anyway.

lol it’s definitely fake, you can see the plastic seams on the backs of the leaves

You could also break off one of the lower leaves and that’ll pretty much tell you it’s real. Or you could grow it out. Take a picture now and then one a week later and look at the center leaves. That was always my indicator my plants grew.
