  1. My chickens always stick with their coop mates too. Something about growing up together from chick's just bonds them in generational groups. 😊❤

  2. What a great video. The pond area is so nice, I just love when you work in that area. The fish are really sweet and trust you. The kids are growing up so fast, and they are so sweet and willing to work. Have a blessed Christmas Season and a blessed day today everyone.

  3. It's something about an air lock in the pressure washer Aaron. Google it. You'll see. Laura, what you're explaining about the spray pattern is just how the turbo works. It has to have a certain amount of pressure to get that turbo turning at first.

  4. It’s a shame the pond hasn’t worked out as well as expected but as Greg said the combination with no shade, contaminants from compost run off and soil amendment blowing in from the surrounding areas with the excess nitrogen and phosphorous. It’s to be expected though given all those factors. Just hope the fish are ok as that much algae suggests an oxygenation issue. The British Phycological Society suggests ensuring you’re removing the algae in a way which eradicates rather than spreads it. Good luck!

  5. Isn’t that how it often is when you do garden work! The prep, getting dressed in right cloths, getting all equipment you need takes just as long time as to do the work. I wish I just could go out and garden! Well at least in a bigger garden/gardens the prep to get going is a pain and when things don’t work 🤯😖 I loove see the real gardening you do! No fluff or not showing the failiurs! 🫶🏻

  6. Yay. Thank goodness for calming GA popping up. I’ve been getting myself in a mess on other pages, need this time to calm myself down, thank you to everyone.

  7. We have one of those Dewalt pressure washers and love it. Our path to Dewalt was because of watching you and hearing your compliments of all their tools. You’ve inspired my love of gardening and thank you for all you both share. We went from an abandoned garden to being on our city’s garden tour thanks to you. Happy holidays.

  8. I have had a pond for 35 years and only had string algae one time. I used a chemical to kill the string algae. It was all gone in 2 days and I have never had it again. While I don’t like to use chemicals it might be an easier solution.

  9. Once you get the pond clean it would be nice to have it for quick clean up so you don’t have to pull the hoses out every time you want to clean🤷‍♀️

  10. We used a toilet brush to snag the string algae when we had a pond. It worked great! Just grab the string algae with the toilet brush and twirl it and then throw it on the compost pile! It makes superb compost 😊

  11. Why does your dream stream have so much algae? Others is so clean you spend more time cleaning it than enjoying it

  12. A tennis ball shoved in the trigger handle holds it open so you don't tire out your hands. Then you can sweep back & forth to clean. Far easier on hands.

  13. Love love love the pond and stream BUT the clean up time spent to keep up with it … makes me NOT want one as badly as I did before watching you guys with the clean up. 🎉
