I am new to air plants and found this on the footpath near home. I know flowers signal the end of the life cycle, but have read they will continue to produce pups. How on earth do I identify and remove a pup from this beautiful mess of a thing?

Tillandsia recurvata. I have these all over my yard. I would probably just leave it as is.
