I've just noticed that about 50% of my two year old potted dwarf Tahitian lime's leaves look like this. Is it ok?

Otherwise, it looks healthy, although a lot of the fruit dropped off a while ago. I'm in Melbourne. My other two citrus that are new this year look fine.

When was the last time that you fertilised it? Citrus are gross feeders. Has it been in the same pot for two years? A young citrus can outgrow its pot quite quickly. What sort of potting mix is it in? Many mixes are poor quality for citrus.

They’re just questions to ask yourself, because the lime has a nutrient deficiency. I would give it a dose of a liquid fertilizer immediately, like a Powerfeed or similar (no plain Seasol), and then a small amount of organic pellets every month or so. Make sure that you use a high quality potting mix, and premium doesn’t automatically mean high quality. It often means making up your own mix, unfortunately.

Here’s a great beginner guide with Ian Tolley:

Looks like a magnesium deficiency developing if that deficiency is expressing itself on the old leaves more than the new leaves.
