  1. 19:11 remember when you had soil contamination in one of your high tunnels and you couldn't even grow food in it? It's really made a good recovery 💜

  2. I ch😂uckled when you said it's OK if it gets a little water in it😅
How about a little of snow? Michigan has been white, like 6 to 8 inches twice so far. Yes we will.have a white Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. 😊❤

  3. 10:47 That's the video that brought me to you! Grow lettuce under a tote. Oh it never did happen up here in the MItten, but I tried!

  4. Haha, I was enjoying a nice cup of tea in my cozy living room while I watched this. Of course, there is over 2 feet of snow covering my upstate NY garden. It will stay buried until April. Until then, I will love watching you and your garden. Merry Christmas. May the Lord richly bless you and your family.

  5. Girl! That look of excitement and love when Asher walked in! I had the same feeling today when mine walked thru the door from college break! Except she was carrying a load of dirty clothes! Lol bring it on in!!!

  6. I teach fifth grade after many years of teaching kindergarten… I am one year into building my main Homestead after living in Massachusetts my whole life… I can hardly wait for Christmas vacation to go through my seats –. Thank you Jess. Thank you for all of your sharing and guidance and inspiration.

  7. Jess have been watching here and there but not posting till this evening. You grabbed my attention with your crocheted cardigan! I’ve been crocheting since my gramma taught me at 10 or so. Oh my, blankets and more blankets all to give away, but was VERY intrigued w your sweater. If I heard right DC granny patch stitch to the size u want and then fold in half, stitch sides up to make arm holes. Done. I would love to make ME something—get so cold fast. Thank you!!❤❤❤

  8. Yall please please please say prayers for my fur baby Chip. We rescued him from the pound 3 years ago and he had a cough from day 1 when he ran or exerted himself. We brought him to the vet and they said he’s a Maltese and they are prone to treak collapse. As time has gone on it’s gotten progressively worse. After insisting on an X-ray they found a tumor so large it pressing on his heart. We have him on hospice because it too far gone to help him. His mind is sharp, appetite is great but he wants to play but can’t because he can’t catch his breath. Our hearts are breaking because he’s the best puppy we have ever loved. He’s brought so much sunshine to our home. We are loving him as much as we can until he lets us know it’s time to let him go. Pray that his last days are as comfortable as they can be please

  9. Beautiful sweater! Nice garden walk too… thank you! Yes… pulling out my seed stash and dreaming along with you! (Even with my inches of snow on the ground and single figure temps… LOL!) Blessings Kiddo! 🙏💕❄️🎄

  10. Oh, Jess! That type of scarf is just the kind of crochet project I need.
I’m inspired to find a great yarn for it. The rainbow trout is beyond gorgeous.
Please tell me how many chains you started with or how you calculated it.
I’m half way ( mostly) prepared for seed starting. It’s my ultimate and favorite reason for sayonara to Christmas. Time to grow. 😂
That broccoli …wow! I’m not usually jealous, but that got me. ❤😊
My seeds for 2026 are in…not put away yet and I’m slowly organizing to get to zero before the next phase of plotting and planning.
Merry Christmas celebrations to you and yours!

  11. Oh my gosh!!! Where did little Toby go?? He has grown up soooooo much!
I got so excited to see you and your family! Your home looks so cozy! Merry Christmas! Enjoy your babies 🌻💕

  12. Something you might want to consider planting one year..not sure when..is Celeriac..delicious in stews and soups

  13. The boys all got so big so quick!!! Handsome men. Hey where did your famous R&R music intro by Daniel? I miss it! Hope ur doing well sis ❤🙏🤗😘🙏

  14. Where did you buy your high tunnel greenhouse from?? I've been looking online but I'd love to get something reliably long term functional for how pricey they are.

  15. Love seeing you in the sunshine ☀️
In New Zealand we are having an early summer at its 75 outside (fair scorching for us 😆😆) The tomatoes are just starting to blush in the greenhouse and the peppers are loaded but still green.
Sending you warm blessings from the southern hemisphere.

  16. Nice bunch of brassica's. Well done. I can't start seeds yet for outdoor planting but I am thinking of starting the indoor greens garden. Nice job on the crochet.

  17. I LOVE going through my seeds in the winter, it makes me feel SO much optimism at all the possibilities for the coming year.

  18. I am in Australia so i loveeee the that you say the Celsius for me. We are just into our summer months. I try not to grow to much during summer and let my beds rest. About march i will go again. But i love may cause if its cool enough i can get my peas in. That isnyour fall months. We call it autumn. Now i have another larger space i can grow more peas for hopefully 6mths. Not 6 weeks. 😂. First year i have grown corn that has amazing ears. I have 6 sandwich bags full. So hopefully 6mths. Same with beans. Thanks for all your inspiration.

  19. The design of your cardigan is perfect for a bed shawl during a hospital stay if a patient is elderly or has suffered a bone break. Or is hooked up to an IV. Easy to put on and leaves lower arms free.
