Recently moved into this rental and the lawn is quite healthy overall but has some huge dead patches – I’m attributing to either dog wear and/or heavy gum leaf buildup but not 100% sure on the history.
So far I’ve cleared the leaf litter (left it in the photos just for illustration) & tine aerated. I am starting to see some shoots and movement but wondering if I’m best to approach differently.
Would I be better to just put some turf rolls or even plugs from the good parts of the lawn on the dead parts? The red dirt/clay directly next to the light gray tiles is an absolute disaster and it get extremely dirty & stained very quickly so it’s basically unusable as a backyard in its current state
Thanks!
