That is too much wire for any sort of tree. I would just try growing your little guy for a while and not worry about wiring it out.

Eh. I guess if there was a lot of moving to do to get the branches where you wanted them, it’s… fine.
Boxwood isn’t typically a tree that has a lot of bends or twisty trunk movement – it just doesn’t look right on them, so keep the wiring to a minimum. Most boxwood work is a slow, patient “clip & grow” process.
It’s a lovely little tree, have fun!

I would remove the wire. I would try to take a class at a local bonsai nursery about how and why to wire.
