I have honestly been abusing my lithops and don’t know how they haven’t kicked the bucket, I’ve watered them a ton since I got them and they were planted in straight soil so they were hella moist for ages. (I just took them out today to rearrange them a bit and mixed the dirt with perlite to ease their suffering a tad.)
I took one of them out and planted it in a mix of perlite and some gravel, I may have planted it too high up but it’s kinda etiolated so I think that’s why it looks like that.
Main question is, should I water it now I’ve repotted it or just let it sit there? I tore the roots a bit so I think I should water it but the fact that it’s been watered 200 billion times already makes me hesitate.
Also, will the sole lithop be able to survive like that? I’m aware it’s not the most comfortable predicament since it needs more depth for its root but I’m not kind enough to allow it that, it can just suck it up and curl its root up like it did in the last pot.

You said you damaged the roots, don’t water for at least a week so it can heal the damage.
I always wait a few days after I repot to let the roots get settled.
DO NOT WATER there is one that is splitting and if you water anytime during this time it is a guided road to death
Wait a week for any root damage to callous over, then you can give it a small amount of water.
I’m assuming you’re in the northern hemisphere and its winter, so normally you wouldn’t water at all at this time of year, but a small amount of water shortly after repotting can help them root properly to the new medium. But after that do not water until its finished splitting in the spring.

Yours seem so big compared to what I have atm. I ordered a two inch pot full of baby lithops I’ve finally got them separated into 15 different pots now and even then when they get bigger they have to be repotted again!,🤦 like there’s just so so many baby lithops ! Hopefully I can keep the rest of them alive! My cats knocked one pot off earlier. I rescued 5 lithops I could see Im not sure how many was actually in the pot tho. Hopefully just the 5 but they are so very tiny I mean like less than half a dime size. Idk very very tiny. That first week I realized they are growing and killing one another in this 2 inch pot that I better separate them. Now I’m just waiting to water them.. I’m not really sure when I should do that. These are very new to me and I’m trying here. I did get some grow lights tonight so I’ma have that started tomorrow for them and the couple leggy echeverias I got so hopefully it’s strong enough and fixes those problems and then I can cut them and propagate to get them to look right again. Poor things. Lol. Lol just nice work with your lithops. I really like the coloring on them. Mine seem to be some green and some shades of purple. Not sure exact kinds besides lithops lol
