First time I've seen this species in Indiana. They spent most of their time eating gay feather & big bluestem seed. It's nice to see life in the garden this time of year! Sorry about the pics, they were taken through the front window. by ProxyProne native plant gardeningNative Plantsrain gardens 3 Comments Pretend_Ball_9167 2 weeks ago I was just watching these same birds in our garden! It feels good to know they have discovered my yard.
