I’m so sad to be writing this, my plant is dying or infected idk.. I usually water it once a week and ensure that it gets enough sunlight (according to the directions on the sticker at least lol)

first picture is what it looked like a few months ago, and the rest are today. I haven’t changed the watering or anything so I don’t really understand..

I did a bit of research but nothing has been conclusive so far. I bought it for my mom and have been taking care of it since (got it a year ago). the leaves have been dying and I removed the dead ones but underneath it’s all mushy??? (as shown in pictures)

what can I do to salvage my plant? 🙁

At a glance, I’d say overwatered.

How do you water? Does your pot have drainage?
How much and what kind of light does it get?

These things like good light and not a lot of water. You’ve given it too much water and not enough light. Take it out of the pot and check for root rot.

I don’t think this plant is getting enough light,
Also please post a picture of the soil and when you last repotted?
