1. Common Gift
A beginner-tier Christmas gift that has a 52.63% chance of appearing when you’re just starting with your submission streak. It costs just 120 Christmas mutated plants and the has balanced drop rates for the rewards.
2. Rare Gift
The Rare gift has a 26.32% chance of appearing and costs 175 Christmas mutated plants. This gift has better drops than the Common version.
3. Mythical Gift
This is a higher-tier Christmas gift with better chances of premium items. The Mythical gift has a 13.16% chance of appearing and requires 250 Christmas mutated plants to be submitted.
4. Gold Gift
This is a rare tier gift with just a 5.26% chance of appearing during the event. The Gold gift requires you to submit a total of 350 Christmas mutated plants and has the following items inside:
5. Rainbow Gift
The Rainbow gift is the rarest of all, with the least chance of appearing during the event as low as 2.63%. To get this, you need to submit a total of 500 Christmas mutated plants, and you can get the following items by opening this gift.
How to Get Gifts in Grow a Garden Christmas Update
As of now, there are just two ways of getting the Christmas gifts in Grow a Garden. One is through the main event area, while the other is during the ‘Samta’s Here‘ weather event. Here’s how to get the gifts through both methods:
1. By Submitting Christmas Mutated Plants
At the main event area at the center of the Grow a Garden lobby, you will find a floating Christmas gift beside Greg the Elf NPC. This is the main interaction point for the event. In order to earn the gift, you can follow the steps below:
Walk up to the floating gift with Christmas mutated plants in your inventory.
Now, you can either press the ‘E‘ key to submit all at once or the ‘F‘ key to submit fruits one by one.
As you submit, the progress bar fills up with points based on the fruit’s rarity, and at 100% completion, you earn the Christmas gift currently displayed.
Once submitted, the event will go into a cooldown for 10 minutes until you can submit the plants again.
Here’s a simple breakdown of all the points you can get by submitting a certain rarity of fruit:
Common: 1 Point
Uncommon: 2 Points
Rare: 3 Points
Legendary: 4 Points
Mythical: 5 Points
Divine: 6 Points
Prismatic: 7 Points

At around every 10 minutes, a Christmas-themed weather event will occur, thereby applying Christmas-themed mutations to your plants. This way, you will never run out of such fruits required to submit to the event. All you need to do is fill your plot with as many plants as you can to maximize the yield at a time.
One important point to note here is that every time you submit the plants, the next reward will not be guaranteed higher-tier one. It is completely random, based on the drop rates as discussed above. There is a way to get a duplicate gift by using the Trade Tokens or Robux, and if you want to skip the current gift, you can do so by spending 49 Robux.
2. From Samta’s Here Weather Event
While submitting Christmas mutated plants is one way to earn the gifts, another way is to wait for Samta’s Here weather event. While this event is active, Samta will fly around the lobby in his sleigh and drop various presents at random.
You can head straight to these presents and press the ‘E‘ key to open them. This way, you can get the Christmas gifts of a random tier and later open them to get the rewards. The event will stay active for just 10 minutes, so watch out for them while you’re actively playing the game.
