Hello plant parents of reddit. I'm new to plants and I've had this Kentia Palm for almost a year now. I used to water it weekly and / or whenever the soil felt really dry. Recently, I've been on an extended work trip. So during these two previous months, my husband has been taking care of it instead. He waters weekly, and sprays the leaves. However, he just sent me these pictures saying that the whole leaves of this particular branch (not just the tips) and the overall plant are getting drier and darker – see first pic. What can we do?! The soil is not overwatered and I don't think it's a rot problem. Should I repot? Water more? Add some kind of product? Also how to help it thrive in general? It always seemed frail and not so "leafy"..
Ps. The air is drier due to heating, hence the regular spraying of the leaves and the plant is not placed near a heating source but itsplaced near a big window (in indirect lighting).

When you say almost a year I assume you probably got it when it was doing great, good weather and natural light, and now you’re at the end of the first year.
Natural light exposure changes and therefore the plant’s watering needs change.
Is he checking down at the bottom of the pot? Is the soil at the bottom staying wet?
How much water is he giving each time?
BTW Spraying the leaves does nothing positive for the plant, except for maybe rinsing off a little bit of dust. It can occasionally have negative effects.
