I’m a novice gardener and planted this ornamental cherry tree 3 years ago for my border. Since lurking on this sub I’ve learnt that having a double leader cannot be a good thing. So my question is, do I need to saw this second leader off? If so, at what time of year as it’s a winter flowering cherry tree. Could you please also advise where I should make the cut and angle of cut. Or will it be fine left in situ? Thank you so much!
