I know nothing about plants really. I bought this monstera at Home Depot last year and it seems to be doing really well. I do water it weekly. Should I be moving it to a bigger pot, or tying the limbs so it stops growing outward? I genuinely have no idea, but I want it to keep thriving! Thank you 😊

Meant to state earlier this year, not last year*

I would move it to a bigger pot, but I’m no expert.

If you want it to be bigger —> bigger pot.

If you want it to be smaller —> either split it (fiddly work) or prune it (simple, lots of guides out there)

It does appear to be stretching for light though.

    Looks healthy!

They are actually a climbing vine. Upsize to a larger pot and get her a moss pole to climb. (Moss not coir)

yes, it might be ready for a bigger pot for sure

I can’t really tell from the pic but this looks like several monsteras together. They may grow better split into their own pots. Check out r/monstera, these guys are climbers who need a pole and chunky soil

Bigger pot separate em all out and give the bigger ones moss poles and they really take off.
