Every year I try and battle these weeds but they come back continuously throughout the year. Getting fed up as not winning the battle! I don’t want to use weed killer. I’ve tried boiling water but this is only half of the wall as it bends round, so it takes many kettle trips each time.
I’ve read that kiln dried sand is good for filling in gaps. But I’ve also been wondering if sowing some Californian poppy seeds down would work? Would be great to help the pollinators but I’m worried the weeds would just grow around them? Please can you give me some ideas 🙂

sow opium or field poppy, california poppy can get out of control. weeds are just plants you dont like, its not meaningful. if you learn what the plants specifically are that are growing there you might not dislike them so much 😅
