Hello!
I've bought this beauty at the end of July, ordered it from PLNTS.
It came in good condition, few holes on the leaves (not from transport, the holes seemed older) but ok. It had one new leaf growing, it popped out after few weeks but never unfurl (it's still there, but tomorrow I'll cut it off). Guessed it was stress from delivery, which I didn't mind as I noticed second leaf getting ready to pop out.
In the meantime, I repotted it into very chunky aroid mix, and gave it moss pole to climb.
Since then it grew few new leaves and growing strong. It already needs a bigger pole.
It's also right next to the window (facing east), like 20cm close to it. It seemed doing fine there. I just recently bought sansi 3 head clip lamp (30W per bulb), using it on other plants for the moment, while Melano still has the window (some of the growing lights it's still reaching to it but not a lot.
I swear to god I can't remember if I watered it, like, 10 times since I have it. Well, probably something along that number. Maybe 15…
Now, 15 sounds a lot. Which would have sense by the look of the two oldest leaves it had. What is that?
It's overwatering, isn't it?
Do you think it's root rot? I'll check tomorrow, but, do you think is that or something else?
How is it possible I overwatered, if the soil has barely any /soil/ in it? It's mostly orchid bark, perlite and universal mix from sybotanica.
Then, one more question, how the hell am I supposed to repot those roots from one moss pole to another? I don't have another plastic one (see last picture), just the wire one which i pre-made few weeks ago, just to have them ready (watched too much sydney plant guy in one day so I got myself hyped lol).
Anyway, all advice welcomed, pls.
