Hey all! This tree was planted in the 50s. It's lived a long life and it's started EOL with it's branches growing down instead of up and out. It's a pin-oak tree, I've been told. At the end of last year this "wound" started to appear. It leaks a bit of sap, but not egregiously so. It's it going to split up the middle and collapse or something? Or is it just going to keep on the road of EOL?

Looks like a frost crack, probably fine unless theres some large hole higher up in the tree.
