Soil to a chilli plant I was gifted. Just as they’re starting to ripen, I find this.
I’ve not dealt with something like this before lmao.
It’s in its last few weeks, so been watering once to maybe twice a week with fertiliser.
Gets hours of morning sun, the afternoon sun is too intense.

Those look like springtails but I can’t tell for sure.
They’re not a pest
These are definitely springtails, they’re good guys! I actually keep them as pets and add them to most of my house plants! They eat detritus matter and mold/fungi.
