got a good one one for you today I get asked this question all the time about fabric planter pots we love them they work great but the biggest question is can I reuse them and of course the answer is yes but how do you clean them what’s the easiest way let me give you a quick tidbit on our breakdown on what we found works best the first step guys objective is to get the roots out of the bag so of course once you’re done with your grow dump everything out let the bag dry out for a few days so this whole thing is as dry as possible because getting those roots out of the bag does take a little bit of work the second step we want to take this bag and we want to pull it inside out because we know the outside of the bag does not have much to clean but we got all this all this that we got to figure out how do I get that out of the bag because once those roots grow into the bag it takes a little bit of work but what we do is once we fold it inside out and we let it dry back you’ll see the roots will get whiter and whiter they’ll be easier to work on with a brush cuz we’re going to find a container a nursery container a bucket anything that’s going to fit over the bag when it’s folded inside out where you can pull it down as tight as possible so when you take any type of scrub brush this is just a kitchen scrub brush I use you can get a hand scrub brush find what works best for you you’re going to go across the top so you get that surface work you see that look how quick that is guys if this was wet these roots would not come off if you don’t give it the proper time to dry out you’re going to be spending their time getting frustrated so when we shake that off you see how quick that comes out easy final step after we do that is we’re going to make a cleaning bath for these bags okay so a cleaning bath is going to be something like hydrogen peroxide a hypoc chloris acid right here or even high clean works because anything that’s a mineral descaler and is going to break down organic compounds is basically what we’re looking for to soak these things and clean these bags up as best as possible for your next grow run just take the bag drop it in here get her under the water we’re going to grab our hypochlorous acid which is mixed at 5 mil per gallon we’re dropping that in a 30 gallon tote here boom easy last step we want to just agitate it up mix it up you could use a broomstick I’ve got a little drill here with a paint mixer on it we’re just going to put this at the bottom and slowly agitate let it soak for 24 hours take everything out of here let it dry out you’re ready for your next grow
