  1. my husband asked if you guys won’t come up with a cool tractor to sell. 😂😂 It sees everything you guys come up with I buy.😂. I can’t wait to get my seed box.

  2. Oh Laura.bamboo they don’t want to be pot bound, plant it out in the garden where you want a good block for the rest of your life, see what happens it could be that bad. 😂😂

  3. Do you water anything that was planted this fall? If they’ve only been in the ground for say four weeks or so?

  4. Great video. I love seeing the maintenance that goes into keeping the garden year around. Good reminders for us. The parade was so nice, and the kids are so sweet. You bring a smile to my face and joy to my heart. Have a blessed day everyone.

  5. Loved seeing the Christmas parade! Gardening chores never end, but the joy remains. That pot for the fig is awesome! Thanks for sharing. 😊

  6. Will those cut bamboo stalks root in if you throw them out in a pile? That wouldn’t be good…

  7. I live in a suburb of Chicago and I grow my hardy fig outside. It’s been a learning curve but I have found that if I cut back most of the new growth and leave old producing branches in early spring I get the most figs. This year I didn’t cut them back soon enough and didn’t get ripe figs before it got too cold for them to ripen. I really think Laura should take cuttings and root them and plant them outside and see what happens 😊🤷‍♀️

  8. Hi 😊 if the bamboo is zone 5-8 could you possibly have it out in the landscape under the tree by the pond where you just had a new seating area made? Its full shade but bright light and will benefit from the humidity of the pond. Just a thought ❤ Happy Holidays 🌲

  9. If you inadvertently "root pruned" a plant then reduce the top! Prune the top to balance out the amount the roots have to support.

  10. We had hard scape done, in shape of a river bed because of a swale & drainage issue. We installed plants all around including Iris. The plant died but I kept the leaves and it pushed a new bloom & flowered. Now we’ve had a few dusting of snow. Should I cut the stalk off or just let it be

  11. Hi Laura! One of your faithful followers from the townhouse days here. 😊 Just like you, I love boxwood, but mine when planted in the landscape tend to succumb to blight. I’ve been thinking about trying the Strongbox Ilex from PW. Do you have experience growing Ilex by chance?
