My grandmother bought me this ghosty almost a year ago and now it's like this
It sits in front of a bright window sill (lighting can be seen in 1st photo), I water it after the soil below the surface is dry (usually 2-3 weeks) and it still got mushy 🙁

You need more !grit in the soil. It should be dry in 2-3 days, not 2-3 weeks. You probably had all the roots rot away. I’m surprised any are still alive.
It’s not etiolated, but it’s also not growing.
You can probably use more !light.
Temperature may be an issue, I don’t know where in the world you are.
