Found these on the leaves of my two largest pothos. We have a few dozen varieties of other tropicals and herbs, all which seem unaffected. The pothos are looking healthy with no other signs of damage/infestation on the underside of the leaves, or stems. They get watered regularly, in well draining pots/soil, enjoy a bright sunny NE facing window, and otherwise seem very happy!

The oddest part is that these buggers all seem dead? So far I have not seen any movement from living bugs.

I've tried reverse image searching, and running these pics through the Plant Parent app, but I can't tell if it's mealybugs, aphids, thrips or something else. Any and all help with an ID is very much appreciated! I have about 40 plants in total throughout the house and I hope to get ahead of this infestation quickly so it doesn't spread! Thank you, all!

these look like aphid exoskeleton, which would match with you observing that they seem dead

If there were remnants of aphids, they more than likely are on another plant. They aren’t typically active on outdoor plants this time of year, but can easily thrive inside.

I’d do a super thorough look through all of your plants to be sure they didn’t piggyback to another.
