There were a lot of birds hanging around them. Some were sitting in them. And some were eating from the ground below them. They’re growing alongside a creek. The blue ones are growing on branches with red-purple leaves. And the red ones are on thorny branches with no leaves.

    The blue ones are Ligustrum vulgare, European privet. The red ones are Rosa multiflora. They are unfortunately both very invasive

    First one looks like privet, Ligustrum vulgare. Second looks like rose hips, probably Rosa Multiflora.
