So inspiring….recycling things helps our environment 😊. I love those plants. Even I'm in Quezon City I'll make sure that our house had a makeshift of nature.. Maybe when I reach😢 the age of 60 I will migrate back in our province.. So relaxing and stress free living.. Have a nice day Miss Elsie.. .
You are pretty good at fixing things, Elsie, 👍 But a suggestion here: buy a bottle of WD40 to spray on all those rusty joints on the metal tubes and levers, so you can unscrew the joints, or open/close the levers easier (next time). Even you fixed it already, but please buy it, and spray it as soon as you can to keep all the joints a long the tube to be lubricated. In the long term, they won't be so rusty and will last longer. Sometimes, when they are so rusty, if you force to unscrew them, they may break. Keep things in good maintenance routinely, and they will be good and will last for a long time. Anyway, you are an amazing lady. I really admire you. Wish you a best life.

Love your life lady, m a bit older than you, doing some diy around my home too. Must have critical tools . The beauty of staying alone, trial and error at times but can be done.
