Dobbies Garden Centre at Moreton Park, Shropshire, has become the seventh store to be upgraded as part of the retailer’s national refurbishment programme.

The store now features a new large coffee shop on the mezzanine level, while the main restaurant has also been fully refurbished and expanded, and offers a full menu across the day.

The site’s soft play has also been revitalised, with the creation of a new separate area which features more seating and play space for families.

Additionally, the store’s shopping village has been expanded, introducing clothing retailer Edinburgh Woollen Mill and outdoor clothing brand Regatta alongside its existing ranges from Mountain Warehouse, Klass, Weird Fish and Pavers.

Dobbies Moreton Park now sells an expanded gardening range, featuring the company’s own-brand tools, as well as growhouses, garden power products and storage.

As well as its biggest ever Christmas range to shop, the store also has Christmas events taking place throughout December, such as its meet Santa experience, alongside its Santa paws and Santa’s breakfast.

General Manager Jim Noble, said: “The store has been completely refreshed and feels like a whole new shopping experience.

“With exciting new ranges and the addition of a brand-new coffee shop, it’s looking absolutely fantastic.”

Dobbies CEO David Robinson added: “This year, we’ve focused on upgrading our stores, and Moreton Park is the seventh to be relaunched in 2025.

“It’s been encouraging to see how the improvements we’ve made across our store estate, both in product range and customer experience, are resonating with our customers. We’re committed to delivering our best ever Christmas, building on the strong results we achieved in spring.”
