So a while back I posted about an alocasia and caladium I had purchased from Ecuagenera because I am stupid. I got some good tips and most people said they were DEAD dead.
I trimmed them both down to just the rhizome and have the caladium storing for winter, but decided to give the alocasia a good try. I put it in some new moss in a jar with a clear plastic cup fit upside down on top. So it had its own micro greenhouse inside my closet greenhouse.
WELL, we’ve got a first leaf now and it’s so beautiful and I wanted to show/thank you all who tried to help my naive, ignorant-to-house plants self.
