I left them in this jar with a liberal amount of yates tomato dust overnight and at least two were still alive this morning, so I don’t think it deters them. Between this and possums that devour whole branches, I’m about ready to give up!

    Caterpillars?
    Pick them off yourself. The pesticides will kill them BUT it also kills the good guys too. Caterpillars are easy to remove manually, that’s how I do it. It also enforces “go into the garden” time 🙂

    Where are you located, and how big are these guys? They look like the cabbage moth larve I get in Canberra. Do you have any brassicas growing? (Broccoli, kale, cabbage etc).
