Photographer Susannah Blatchford said it was “a privilege to photograph these wee legends”.
“You know when them shoes come off it’s been one heck of a day and wow, was it ever! The atmosphere was on fire, the best people, the best energy.”
In the comments on the post, bride Alice said “Absolutely adore these photos😍The best day ever!“.
Last year, the couple welcomed a daughter, Kaea Kate Williams who was born more than three months early.
Sharing a picture of the premature baby, Williams wrote at the time; “Kaea came early at 27 weeks and only weighed 1.4 pounds. Alice and baby are doing really well! But we have a long road ahead!”.
Williams, 25, made his provincial rugby debut for Canterbury in 2020 and earned selection for the Māori All Blacks that same year. He has made 27 appearances for the All Blacks.
In August, Williams re-signed with New Zealand Rugby, the Crusaders, and Canterbury Rugby through to the end of 2029.
