What are those? I tried looking them up, but I keep getting different results

    They are too young to tell at this point, but based on those cotyledons I’m guessing they might either be sunflowers or cucurbits (melons/gourds).

    They could be any number of things. At this stage, you’re only seeing the seed leaves (called “cotyledons”), which often look nothing like the leaves that will come (“true” leaves) as the plant grows.

    When the true leaves form, take more pictures and do another post, and it’ll be way easier to get a good ID.

    Incidentally, is this bit of ground below a bird feeder?

    I also agree with sunflowers. You’ll know for sure once the next set of leaves grows out. Things like pumpkins and watermelon have similar looking cotyledons so time will tell.

    If you’re in the Northern hemisphere sunflowers are more likely this time of year than the others I mentioned.
