Here is part one of the plans for the rest of the garden , at least for now…

Good morning. Good morning. Good morning. My name is Lanna and welcome to Black Bear Rock Homestead. Well, I’ve made a decision. This is a big decision. A lot to do to make this decision work. So, and I got something to show you as well. So, let’s turn the camera around. Let me show you. So, I’ve decided this is going to take a big undertaking of total garden redo. I mean, total garden redo. You already know that I am redoing veggie land and strawberry fields, which we’re doing away with that because I can’t grow strawberries here. Uh, I’ve tried and tried and tried and tried and tried and never succeeded. I would love one day to grow strawberries. I know there’s people in this area that are able to, but personally I cannot. Uh so since all my beds are going down this way, we’re going down this way. So, I decided to go ahead and I’m going to show you the jungle. Uh, after we get We’re still working on this, but I’ve decided to go ahead and redo Blackberry Fields as well. Um, this is how as of right now. Uh, because I really didn’t know what to do with this jungle mess. But I decided to go put all the beds downhill going this way. So, when I get to Blackberry Fields, I am going to redo how the rows are done. That means a lot of digging up blackberries, a lot of digging up, which a lot of these are thorned. Uh, these two rows, oops, sorry. Sorry about that. These two rows right here are mainly thornless. Um, and then the rest of it is thorned. Um, I’d like to eventually get rid of the thorns for the most part, but I’ve decided to go ahead and this will be a big undertaking uh, to say the least because there’s already this bed and that bed over there where the white roses Sharon is. make that one whole bed uh a long bed going that way cuz it’s going that way anyway. And then making my rows of blackberries going that way as well instead of little short deals because they’re breaking in over here on this side. So, and so just a quick note, I got the plastic on y’all. I ain’t got the clips I need, but I’m going to use what I can. I know I got to cut off some of this. Um, I tried to uncover the irises so I wouldn’t kill them. Uh, but they will I’m thinking they will probably be mood, but not right now because we are in a drought, real a severe drought right now in the Missouri Ozarks, at least where I live. Um, so I got it up. My plan is to order some of those little clips that go right here. Might clip it down right there all the way on the front and the back. And maybe some I mean I know I got to adjust the plastic and get the tubs back in there maybe. I don’t I’m not 100% on that one. So Oh wait, looks like that little mini greenhouse is fall over.
