My pothos has had some intense yellowing recently, and im afraid shes dying! It has been treated for pests and overwatering is unlikely because i use watering globes. It recently went through an extensive trimming, could this be why? TIA!!!

Water globes can cause root rot. It’s not about the amount of water, it’s about drainage and air. You can pour water over a plant for 2 minutes and it’s ok, as long as it has adequate drainage and time to dry out. You should watering enough that water does pour through the drainage holes as well. Pothos like to dry out between waterings. The watering globe is keeping the bottom of your soil moist. I gaurentee if you pulled that plant out, you will have roots that are brown and mushy.
I trim mine all the time and this doesn’t happen. This looks like watering. I think the other commentors are right. You need to get rid of the watering globe. Just stick your finger in the soil. If it’s dry an inch down you can water. If not, don’t. These are hardy plants so if you correct the watering she should be just fine. Your soil mix should be chunky with a mix of equal parts perlite, orchid bark and soil. The mix is airy enough to allow some dry out between waterings. She’s pretty! Good luck! 🍀
