Oh yeah, caterpillars!🐛
We had a pergola covered in passion flower vines, absolutely beautiful in the spring and early summer, but by August all the Gulf Flitterary butterfly eggs hatched and the deck was coated in greenish brown poops, like completely encrusted! Had to hose it off weekly, probably a few pints of shit a week.

Caterpillar droppings, take a good look around your plant on the foliage.
You’ve got a caterpillar somewhere on your herbs. Living its best life.
In a word: Poop. Check underneath the leaves for a caterpillar or possibly rolled up in a leaf for disguise.
Frass, technically speaking
You have fairies.
Seeds.
Catapillar poo?
Caterpillar right above the poop in the second picture. It is actively chewing a leaf in the picture. Far right middle. Almost looks up at the camera
See those holes in the leaves? The missing material is those dots.
Here’s another one!

That’s a lot of floor droppings for a caterpillar.
I kinda thought something went to seed?
It does look like caterpillar grass but that’s a crapload (pun intended) and spread out pretty far. How many plants do you have?
Those be poops.
