I didn't feel like dealing with slips, so I put down a whole sweet potato back in April because I think the vines are pretty and had a large bare spot to fill. This is what I harvested today, and I think they're New Jersey White? I really was only aiming to have attractive vines, and I figured I probably had some good tubers but not at this scale. And I put the sweet potato on top of the dirt and covered with wood chips. The mother sweet potato looks like the Borg Queen. lol
