The California Botanic Garden in Claremont is offering Luminaria Nights events in December.
During the events, running from 6 to 9 p.m., paths in the native plant gardens are lit with luminarias, and there are string lights linking three illuminated musical venues.
There are different musical performers each night, with genres ranging from early choral music to blues to Native American flutes, according to a news release.
A different food truck will be in the garden’s California Courtyard each night, and there will be hot drinks from Marigold Coffee Collective, plus cookies from Crème Bakery, Some Crust Bakery, Cookies ‘n Pints, Revolutionary Bites, and DoubleTree. All treat sales benefit the California Botanic Garden Volunteer Organization, according to the news release.
Luminaria Nights opened Dec. 5 and 6 and continues Dec. 12, 13, 19 and 20.
Tickets are $21 for adults; $16 for students with ID, seniors and children ages 3 to 12; and free for children younger than 3. California Botanic Garden members receive a $5 discount on each ticket.
