I know my potted Ponderosa lemons are ripe when my wife gets a lemon meringue pie memory pop up on her feed. Picked this beauty and my wife and son turned it into a delicious pie. Lots of seeds in the lemon but it also had about a full cup of juice #lemon #lemontree #lemonmeringuepie #pie

Beautiful color! I knew mine was ready since it takes 5 months to ripen and the skin was starting to get soft. Making curd and marmalade out of this harvest— definitely looking at lemon meringue next time!
